But here's the thing. Nothing's going to change. Society's still gonna keep going down the same road, whether blindly or whether with our eyes open. We're still gonna go down the road.

Ain't gonna happen. The vain existence will not be abandoned. Their parents didn't do it. Their grandparents didn't do it. They're not gonna do it.

Some people here and there will indeed abandon vain existence. We're laughed at, ridiculed. If people like us we're talked about in hushed tones reserved for friendly outcasts. We look different, act different and think different.

If you can live through the anxiety and fear when you abandon all that has been taught you then you have a chance. It won't be pretty or cool but you'll start to wake up and realize that you are indeed born for a reason.  You get to decide what to keep and what to discard of what's been taught.

You were not born to consume things like advertisers have socialized you (and your parents, and their parents) into believing since you were born. You were not born to sign the next petition or join an organized pseudo movement. You were not born to bring others to church. You were not born to organize a resistence to the insanity of nuclear power. It's too late for that.

Wake up to the fact that the true calling of life is to live. Wake up to the animal you are and evolve. Or go with the rest -- if that's the kind of animal you are. There is no harm in it.
